SALT LAKE CITY — Kilby Court is celebrating 25 years of music and it's planning to celebrate in a big way come spring.

The iconic Salt Lake City venue announced the lineup of its fifth Kilby Court Block Party on Tuesday, which features groups like LCD Soundsystem, the Postal Service, Vampire Weekend and Wu-Tang Clan among other big names and up-and-coming acts.

"This year's festival aims to build upon the success of previous years and elevate the festival experience to new heights, showcasing an eclectic lineup that spans genres and generations — from established headliners to exciting emerging talent," organizers said in a statement. Kilby Block Party is once again set to be the largest multi-day indie music festival in Salt Lake City history."

The Kilby Block Party began in 2019 as a way to celebrate the small venue's 20th anniversary. It's grown every year since as organizers have shifted venues. Last year's three-day festival — the first held at Utah State Fairpark — brought in more than 25,000 people from all 50 states and 15 different countries, according to S&S Presents, which organizes the event.

It will return to Utah State Fairpark from May 10-12, 2024.

Indie favorites like Alvvays, Andy Shauf, Courtney Barnett and 100 Gecs are also slated to perform, as well as rock and indie staples like Belle and Sebastian, Dinosaur Jr. and Interpol. Ben Gibbard will be pulling double duty as the frontman of both the Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie that weekend.

Individual day lineups will be released at a later time. The full lineup can be found here.

Three-day passes will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, ranging from $239 to $649 plus service fees for the three-day event. S&S Presents officials say there are payment plans available, starting at $65.

Organizers add that single-day passes will go on sale as the daily lineup is secured at a later time.
