CLEARFIELD — Clearfield police are still seeking help finding a woman believed to have been missing since Aug. 16.

Tina Marie Jones, 52, is described as white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs 180 pounds with a dark brown pixie cut. Police say she was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt and dark-colored pants.

Jones is listed with the National Crime Information Center as a missing and endangered person, and police say she has a history of mental illness, including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and has been homeless for several years.

Her family reported her missing to Clearfield police on Aug. 28, saying she had last had contact with them on Aug. 9 and had checked out of a homeless shelter in Salt Lake City on Aug. 13.

Jones is believed to have been staying with an acquaintance at Clearfield Junction Apartments, 101 N. Main, from Aug. 13 to Aug. 16. Apartment occupants told police they saw her last on Aug. 16 and she left behind all her personal belongings except for her wallet.

A nearby business surveillance camera also captured Jones leaving the apartment at 2:14 p.m. on Aug. 16, walking west over the Center Street Bridge. She has not been seen or heard from since and has not been traceable through financial records or phone records, police say. No hospitals or homeless shelters in the area have reported sightings of Jones after Aug. 16.

Clearfield police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 801-525-2806.
