YOUR NIGHTMARES — Fear of snakes is pretty common. Statistically speaking, if you were to gather 20 random people and ask them how they feel about snakes, 14 would say that they're afraid of them and the other six would only pretend they aren't afraid of them.
You might be thinking, "not me — I love all reptiles and I actually feel calmer when I'm around snakes than when I'm not around them. In fact, if I have any fear, it's the fear of not being with snakes."
Fair enough. I also love snakes. I enjoy finding them in the wild and I think some of them make incredible pets.
But you can't tell me that if a stealthy snake, like this one, entered your home and headed right toward your loved ones that it wouldn't startle you.
According to the video description, this incident occurred in Vietnam. There are about 200 different types of snakes in Vietnam, so people are probably accustomed to seeing these slithery friends all over the place.
But it feels different when a snake enters your home like a ninja.
"Luckily, the floor is a little bit slippery, which makes the snake unable to slither fast," the caption states. "When I saw it, I shout out loud and helped my kids run away."
Yikes. I hope they learned their lesson and will never use that front door again. Sure, it's annoying to use your windows to come and go from your home. But at least it's a snake-proof strategy.
