THE INTERNET — Ah, few things were as delightful growing up as corn.

Many a summer night my cousins and I spent helping our grandparents shuck corn from my grandpa's garden in southern Utah — light yellow, so-sweet-it-tastes-like-candy corn. We'd eat it on the cob or cut and soaked in butter.

OK, now I'm hungry-typing.

But perhaps no one understands the magic of corn better than the darling little boy in this video.

"Ever since I was told that corn was real, it tasted good!" he says. "But when I tried it with butter, everything changed. I love corn."

He acknowledged that not everyone likes it, but "not everyone has to like it" for it to be "the best."

Truer words have never been spoken. The wisdom of children.

When asked about his other interests in the video created by YouTube channel Recess Therapy, the child says some of his favorite things include games like hide-and-seek, tag, and not "lava monster." But "mostly corn."

"I mean, then, look at this then! I can't even imagine a more beautiful thing. It's corn!" he says, displaying his half-eaten, delicious-looking corn on the cob.

He said he would describe corn to someone who has never tasted it before as a "big lump with knobs," and added that it should cost $1.

Recess Therapy dubbed him the "CEO of corn."

Since the video was posted in August, the 7-year-old named Tariq has given interviews on talk shows and was even named a "corn-bassador" of South Dakota, Insider reported.

Because it is the internet, fans have even created a catchy song out of the adorable video.

Is anyone else super ready for dinner now?
