SALT LAKE CITY — Garth is coming back to Utah.

Country music superstar Garth Brooks will once again be performing in Salt Lake City, taking the stage at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, June 18, according to a Wednesday news release from the University of Utah.

Brooks last played at the Utes' stadium in July, when he told the crowd that he would return to the venue before the conclusion of his stadium tour this year.

"This tour ends in the summer of '22. Before this stadium tour ends, I would like to come back here," Brooks told the crowd, according to the Deseret News.

Brooks' return to Utah is the only repeat venue announced so far on his stadium tour, the release states.

The concert is expected to sell out quickly, as tickets for the 2021 concert were gone in less than 30 minutes, according to the release. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, and can be purchased via Ticketmaster's website.

Tickets can also be purchased by calling 1-877-654-2784, or via the Ticketmaster app. There will be an eight-ticket limit per purchase, and there will be no ticket sales at the Rice-Eccles Stadium box office.
