LOGAN — One person has died after a single-engine airplane crashed into a North Logan house Saturday night, officials say.
Around 8:30 p.m., the single-engine SeaRey LSX plane crashed into a house at 2295 Meadow Lark Lane, according to a written statement from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The single occupant of the plane was declared dead on the scene, North Park Police Chief Ulysses Black told KSL later in the evening. The house was not occupied at the time of the crash, he said.
Further details about what may have caused the crash were not available Saturday night.
