SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah version of Bravo’s popular "Real Housewives" franchise will focus on six "dynamic and successful" women who are part of an exclusive social circle, according to the network.

Bravo announced the cast and release date Wednesday for "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." It debuts on Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. MT.

The six main cast members of the show will be Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen Shah, according to Bravo. The group is a diverse collective of women from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds, the network says.

Barlow was born in New York but has lived in Utah for over 20 years. She is the owner of a marketing company and several tequila brands, according to her bio on Bravo’s website. Barlow attended Brigham Young University with Gay and has been best friends with Marks for several years.

Cosby is the inheritor of her family’s network of churches, restaurants and other entities. Described as a "Pentecostal First Lady," Cosby has a “penchant for God, couture and only the finest champagne,” according to her Bravo bio.

Gay is the owner of a spa business in the Salt Lake Valley called Beauty Lab and Laser, which several cast members of the show frequently visit. Gay was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from birth and was "married to Mormon royalty" for 11 years but distanced herself from the church after her divorce, Bravo’s website says.

Marks is a celebrity jewelry designer who operates out of her shop on Main Street in Park City. She is good friends with Shah and Barlow, who love to buy Marks' jewelry, according to Bravo’s website. Marks is also described as an "ice queen with a knack for partying."

Rose is a "descendant of Mormon Royalty" but has been living life outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the past decade and is now the owner of a skincare product line called Iris and Beau, Bravo’s website says. Rose left the church after having an affair with her boss, Justin, after which both she and Justin left their former spouses to be together, her bio says.

Shah is the CEO of three different marketing businesses. A native Tongan and Hawaiian, Shah was previously a Latter-day Saint but has converted to Islam. She is "always decked out in designer brands" and has a big personality, which means "she can go from 0 to 100 very quickly," Bravo’s website says.

At BravoCon last year, "Real Housewives" producer Andy Cohen said the Utah location might be unexpected but promised it will be just as exciting as other versions of the franchise.

"You didn’t see it coming, but I have to tell you, in Utah, you’ve got the majesty of the mountains, you’ve got the majesty of the Mormon religion. You’ve got an exclusive community of people who have very successful businesses, who live in their own universe," Cohen said. "It is gorgeous and I think you’re going to be really surprised, intrigued and titillated by the group of women that we have chosen."
