(KSL News) The Salt Lake County District Attorney's office is looking into the beating of a man involved in a controversial kidnapping case.
During a July 4 party, neighbors found their two young children in the home of David Bell and his partner Dan Fair.
After the discovery, they allegedly beat both men, sending Fair to the hospital.
The district attorney's office did not file assault charges at the time but tells the Deseret News it will now review Fair's case for other possible charges against the attackers.
David Bell, meanwhile, faces two counts of child kidnapping. His trial begins in April.
