MIDWAY, Utah (AP) -- A border collie from Virginia won the gold medal in a sheepdog competition.
Barbara Ray and her dog Britt came in first place yesterday in the Solder Hollow Classic international sheepdog championships.
North America champion Amanda Milliken and her dog Ethel took home the silver medal, while Californian Bill Burhow and his dog Pete earned the bronze medal.
Nearly 24-thousand people attended the four-day event, which showcases the physical and mental abilities of border collies.
An event spokesman says it's the largest annual sheepdog competition in the world.
