KAYSVILLE — Police arrested a man who allegedly touched a juvenile girl inappropriately during a high school football game and asked other girls for a kiss.
Tyler Johnson Williams, 24, was arrested Friday night for investigation of sexual battery.
During the Davis High School football game, two parents told the school resource officer about a problem in the south end of the stadium.
“Both parents informed me that their daughters indicated that an adult male was walking around touching girls,” according to a Davis County Jail booking report.
One of the girls had taken a picture of the man and sent it to her father to show police. The officer found Williams and asked him if he was touching people.
“He informed me that he brushed up against people, due to there being a lot of kids. He then informed me that he had a lawyer and didn’t want to talk,” the report states.
One girl, however, told the officer that Williams had grabbed her buttocks from behind and then apologized and walked away, according to the report.
“I talked with around eight other juvenile females, aging around elementary through junior high, where they stated that Mr. Williams was going around asking girls their age, what school they attend, telling them his age, and asking if they wanted to kiss,” the officer wrote in his report.
