CASTLE DALE, Emery County — Few details were available Friday about a body that was found in Emery County this week.
The body was found on Thursday afternoon, the Emery County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
Investigators identified the body as that of William Randy Jones, 61, of Price.
The sheriff’s office said the case was in the early stages of investigation and did not release any additional information.
It was not immediately clear if the case was being treated as a suspicious death, or if any foul play was suspected. Sheriff’s officials did not say where in Emery County the body was located.
Calls to the sheriff’s office were not immediately returned Friday evening.
