SALT LAKE CITY — Six wildfires continue to burn across the state, though four are nearly fully contained, according to Utah Fire Info.
Firefighters are still working around the clock to manage the Dollar Ridge Fire in Wasatch and Duchesne counties, which has now burned over 52,000 acres and was reported at 45 percent containment Monday night. Crews are also working to further contain the West Valley Fire in Washington County which has burned nearly 12,000 acres and is 55 percent contained.
A wildfire in Arizona just 15 miles south of St. George began burning Sunday evening and continues to grow.
