BOUNTIFUL — If your favorite part of the Harry Potter series was the Forbidden Forest, you'll love this giant radio-controlled spider that looks like it could be Aragog's brother.
Bountiful man Mark Cawley has been building larger-than-life radio-controlled spiders for the past three Halloweens, but this year he went bigger than ever. In this video, he explains how his first spider was built using a small, remote control car and each year the spiders have grown more complex.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
Cawley's vehicle-sized spider this year was built with a Traxxas Xmaxx vehicle frame, and he even added MrRCSound smoke and sound systems to make it really come to life. Watch as the spider comes together into a Halloween creature that could even startle Hagrid.
