SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Transit Authority and city planners are considering bringing a streetcar line to the Sugar House neighborhood.
Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake and UTA are considering using the streetcars to connect a light rail line with the neighborhood.
Planners are modeling the line after Portland, Oregon's four-mile, city-owned loops that connect downtown neighborhoods to light rail.
A $300,000 study will decide if the two-mile line is feasible.
