(KSL News) Police say a man accused of trying to kidnap and murder a motel maid admitted to one of the crimes when he was arrested.
According to officer testimony, as Creed Lujan was being taken into custody last week he said "Kidnapping? How was it kidnapping? I understand the homicide, but I didn't kidnap anyone." He also told officers that he "just snapped."
The woman was found unconscious inside Lujan's motel room. Police say it appeared she had been strangled with a hand towel.
The incident happened on July 21 at the Crystal Inn, 2254 W. City Center Court.
