(KSL News) Those organizing the daily searches for Destiny Norton shared their grief and sentiment for the Norton family.
Tim Hollinger, U Search: "We wish the family all the best. We give them all of our condolences and we thank all the volunteers and all the volunteer staff that helped us throughout the week."
When asked if he felt searchers wasted their time, U Search founder Tim Hollinger said in the end the searches help.
Tim Hollinger, U Search: "The success of it, I'm not sure. We've generated information and we know where Destiny was not. And in essence that does help."
Hollinger also noted in cases like this public awareness is vital, and if anything, their searches did that successfully.
