SALT LAKE CITY — Pixar created its newest movie, “Inside Out,” and the first trailer was released Thursday.
The movie was directed by Academy Award-winning director Pete Docter, the creator of “Monsters, Inc.” and “Up,” according to a news release.
“Inside Up” tells the story of Riley, a girl who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. After the move, Riley goes through a series of emotions while adjusting to her new life.
The emotions are portrayed by several characters inside Riley’s mind: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. Joy is voiced by Amy Poehler, Bill Hader voices Fear, Anger is Lewis Black, Disgust is voiced by Mindy Kaling and Sadness is Phyllis Smith.
“Inside Out” will be released in theaters in 3-D on June 19, 2015.
