SARATOGA SPRINGS — Police have confirmed an arrest in connection with the bomb threat at Westlake High School on Aug 19.
A male, who lives across the street from Westlake High School, was arrested and is currently being booked on felony charges, according to Owen Jackson, a city representative.
Jackson said that the FBI Joint Terrorism Taskforce worked in conjunction with the Saratoga Springs Police Department to trace the IP address attached to the Skype account the male used to call police to make the bomb threat on Tuesday.
Police served a warrant at the residence where they arrested the male at about 5 p.m. Thursday. As of 10 p.m., police were still at the home gathering evidence.
Officials said that they are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
