A GALAXY FAR AWAY — After months and months of rumors Disney has finally announced the cast for “Star Wars: Episode VII.”
The cast of the new film will consist of John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow as well as the stars of the original series Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
The new addition to the “Star Wars” film series is set to release on December 18, 2015 and will reportedly take place 30 years after “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.”
J.J. Abrams, who rebooted the “Star Trek” franchise, is directing the film from a screenplay written by he and Lawrence Kasdan. Kasdan penned the screenplays for “Return of the Jedi” and “The Empire Strikes Back.”
