SALT LAKE CITY — You've practiced your shoe-gazing and your head-bobbing, and washed your favorite obscure band t-shirt. You're basically ready to go to the opening night of the the Twilight Concert Series.
But just in case you are still struggling with some of the logistics, like where to park, how to buy tickets, or even where you're going to eat once you get downtown, we've put together a handy list for you answering those questions.
General information
Where: Pioneer Park, 350 West 300 South When: Gates and the Twilight Market open at 5:00 p.m., music begins at 7:00 p.m.
Standing room only, no chairs, no blankets
Buying tickets
Season tickets are no longer available. Individual tickets, however, may be purchased in three ways:
- Online. Tickets for individual shows may be purchased for $5 each through 24t ix. They will be delivered to your mailing address within nine business days. You can purchase tickets for several shows at one time online, but tickets will still cost $5.

- At any Graywhale location. Tickets for Twilight shows may be purchased at the store any time before 5 p.m. on the day of the concert. Graywhale is open Monday through Saturday from 10a.m. until 10p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
- Upon entry. Tickets can be purchased with cash at three of four points-of-entry at Pioneer Park. ATMs will be stationed by each entrance. Parking and transportation
- Street parking is available, but extremely limited. You may park in metered parking on any nearby street for $2 and hour until 8 p.m., after which it is free.
- Event parking is available nearby at AMPCO Parking (217 S. 300 West or across the street at 230 S. 300 West) for two hours, the rate is $3 for two hours. as well as DIAMOND Parking (336 S. 400 West or 439 S. 400 West) for $2 for one hour, or $3 for three hours. All lots are subject to posted event rates. Payment is cash-only.
- TRAX stops at 450 S. Main Street (Courthouse stop), just a few minutes' walk from Pioneer Park. The last stop with a parking lot on the Blue Line is Ballpark (1300 South 180 West), two stops south of Courthouse. Parking is free at the UTA lot, but a ticket is required for boarding. If taking the Red Line from the U., the Medical Center Station has limited parking available. A ticket is required for boarding here, as well. A TRAX-only roundtrip ticket is $4.70. Tickets must be purchased at a ticket vending machine, located on each station, which accept cash, and [some accept credit cards](<http://www.rideuta.com/mc/?page=TRAX- TRAXParkingandStops >).
Nearby grub
Of course, this list could include dozens more places nearby, but for the sake of brevity, we've limited it to restaurants that share a street with Pioneer Park and will be open late enough for concert-goers to chow down.
- The Tin Angel, across the street from the park (365 W. 400 South) prides itself on serving fresh, local ingredients in a sit-down atmosphere.
- For a quick taste of Thai, Eka mai serves several curries from behind a takeout counter. Open until 10 p.m.
- Bruges Waffles and Frites serves up fresh waffles of all kinds, sandwiches, sausages, and their fries, served Belgian-style with homemade mayos of all flavors. Open until 8 p.m. Food vendors will be included in the Twilight Market, and the cuisine will range from meatball subs to Thai and raw foods.
- Caputo's Deli is open until 7 p.m., but early-comers will be rewarded with a range of fresh salads, sandwiches and pastas.
