(KSL News) Construction crews will shut down portions of I-215 today to replace the 4500 South freeway bridge.
The bridge will be closed at noon, and I-215 between 3900 South and 6200 South will close at 8:00 tonight.
Over the weekend, robotic lifters will put the new three-million-pound bridge into place.
I-215 will re-open at 8:00 Monday morning. The bridge will open a week later.
