Paul Nelson, KSL Newsradio The athletes of the Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour are giving high praise to Salt Lake City. The action kicks off at the EnergySolutions Arena tomorrow.

The stands are up, and the dirt's about ready to ride on. Both BMX super-cross racer Donny Robinson and BMX Vert Rider Simon Tabron say they're glad to be competing in Salt Lake.

"It's an amazing place. The air is amazing, [and] the people are great," Robinson said.

"I'm a fan of this place already," Tabron added.

Tour President Wade Martin says this might not be the last time they visit here. They're considering expanding to have a winter tour. "Hopefully we'll be talking about two stops in Utah and doing summer and winter events here," he said.

Martin says the events will be broadcast on NBC and the USA Network between Friday and Sunday, so it could be seen in more than 110 countries.
