(KSL News) -- Police in South Salt Lake are sorting out conflicting stories in a possible kidnapping.

31-year Rick Harrold is accused of kidnapping his girlfriend from a friend's house this afternoon. The woman told police she escaped from Harrold after he crashed his truck near State Street and 39th south.
She claimed he tried to kill her.
Harrold was arrested a short time later, after going to Pioneer Valley Hosptial for medical treatment.
Police say he gave them a different version of events, so they are trying to sort out detials before filing any charges in the case.
