SALT LAKE CITY -- Two people were injured in a bizarre crash near Interstate 215 Saturday.
Troopers say a man was driving north in the fast lane on the freeway near 5000 South when he suddenly careened his truck across all the lanes to the right of him. He then drove up a huge hill -- stopping only when the vehicle hit a barrier at Wasatch Boulevard.
That barrier is designed to keep vehicles from launching off Wasatch onto I-215.
Troopers say it appears the driver blacked out -- causing him to drive up the hill. The man and his passenger were injured but will be OK.
