(KSL News) A Utah solider killed in Iraq was laid to rest this morning.

Corporal Michael Pursel died when a roadside bomb exploded near his humvee in the Diyala province earlier this month flipping it over and killing him and five soldiers inside.

Utah Soldier Laid to Rest This Morning

Pursel was 19 years old. He came from a military family and had moved to Utah in 2000 when his mother was stationed at Hill Air Force Base.
