Tom Callan, KSL NewsradioA woman says she was the victim of a violent attack on board TRAX.
She says she was just sitting on the southbound train through Midvale Thursday night. A man sitting nearby made sexual advances toward her. She moved away and said no. He then punched her several times in the face, breaking her nose.
After they both got off the train at 7720 South, the woman called police. Officers arrested Raymond Deherrera, 37. He's been in and out of the Utah State Prison.
UTA officials say the woman may not have known that she could call for help while on the train. They say if you're ever in trouble, just push the red button--there is one in every car.
