Wildfire grows to 15-20 acres in remote area near Saratoga Springs

SALT LAKE CITY – A human‑caused wildfire in Utah County started to burn Sunday morning as state and local crews worked to contain flames in the foothills above Saratoga Springs, growing to an estimated 15-20 acres. According to Utah Fire Info, the Stillwater Fire has grown to an estimated 15–20 acres. Officials said the cause is human‑related, though the incident remains under investigation. Saratoga Springs Mayor Chris Carn said the fire is burning in Israel Canyon, a remote area on the city’s east side. "The fire is in a remote area at this time, and no structures are threatened," Carn said.
