(KSL News) A hunting accident has claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy.
Sunday afternoon the boy and his father were deer hunting in Rifle Canyon, near Dutch John in Daggett County. Deputies say the father was reloading his gun when it accidentally discharged, hitting and killing the teen.
They're now waiting for the State Medical Examiner's report before officially declaring the death accidental.
The father and son are from Weber County.
