Road construction to disrupt Davis County commute

(KSL News) Commuters in Clearfield will have to find another route as a heavily traveled overpass is closed for improvements.

The 200 South overpass will be closed for the next seven months so that structural changes and embankment improvements can be made.

Public Works officials tell the Deseret Morning News that, currently, the soil underneath the overpass is not able to withstand the weight and weather conditions in the area.

Drivers are being encouraged to use 300 North, 700 South or 1700 South as alternate routes until the project is completed.
