Noah's Unveils New Technology for Meeting Places

Sam Penrod Reporting A new idea in a multi-use event center is about to be unveiled here in Utah. Noah's, in Lindon, uses new technology to create meeting space that is available 24/7.

This is Noah's--a new idea in meeting and gathering, on a large scale, to a very small one for recreation, business or even educational purposes.

William Benz, Noah's CEO: "You can play music in here and have a game going on here while you are playing billiards,

basically you can make the room whatever you want."

And if you want to talk business...

William Benz: "We can scan, we can fax, we can video, we've got the plasma display, we can audio conference."

Or watch a big game on a big screen TV or a larger area to gather with family or friends.

William Benz: "If you want to have a family reunion for three or four people or a family reunion for three or four hundred, you can do it here at Noah's."

There's even an ice skating rink on the roof, and a basketball court, which can turn into a ballroom for weddings.

Noah's is the dream of founder Bill Bowser, who for the last ten years has been researching and developing his idea.

Bill Bowser, Noah's Founder: I began to envision a place where business could come; entrepreneurs could come and have a good business experience."

What makes Noah's unique is the technology. Every room is wired for climate control, lighting and electronics, all controlled miles away at a command center.

Customers reserve time in the room of their choice though online booking and are given an access code. And when your time is running out, the lights start going out and it's then readied for the next customer.

Bill Bowser: "Noah's ark was the only safe place, this is a very safe place and it was a gathering place, of course two of every kind into Noah's and I'm hoping everyone gather's here as well."

People will start to gather at Noah's next week, during its open house.

Noah's plans to expand across the country.

And by the way, most of the rooms are already booked for Super Bowl Sunday.
