Mountain towns hit hard by weekend snowstorm

Paul Nelson reporting If you think the snow was bad in Salt Lake County, you should see how hard some mountain towns were hit.

I'm sure the city of Liberty is a lovely place. I wouldn't know. With all the snow, I couldn't really see it.

"This is something we have quite often," Liberty resident Arden Broadbent said. "Not this bad, I think this is the worst."

Arden says regular snow blowers aren't strong enough to move this much snow. Plus, snow is sliding off the roof, so a cave has formed around the front door.

Lora Broadbent said, "It looks like there's a mouth when you look out the bedroom window because there's just a hole [of visibility]. It looks like you're inside a giant creature.

Lora says if her dog was to go out in this, he may be lost for a long time.
