SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Olene Walker Housing Loan Fund board is spending $2.1 million toward affordable housing.
The money will go toward six properties with 263 new or renovated low-income housing units.
State officials say a lending crisis has made it difficult to finance affordable housing.
The funded projects include housing in Brigham City for people with developmental or physical disabilities, a senior housing complex in Taylorsville and others.
