WEST VALLEY CITY — What came first, the "Rock of Ages" tour or "Rock of Ages" the movie?
Chronologically, the movie did, but the music of Poison, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Styx, Foreigner, Journey, Whitesnake and Bon Jovi were the reigning kings of the 1980s (and queens, if you count Dee Snider's makeup and wardrobe back then).
Def Leppard and Poison will rock the stage of USANA Amphitheater on Wednesday June 20 at 7 p.m. for the "Rock of Ages Tour," according to Def Leppard's website. The tour plans on taking the two trailblazing bands from their opening show that played at the legendary House of Blues in West Hollywood, California on June 6, and coursing all over the country and Canada throughout the summer.
Tickets are still on sale for the show. These two hot bands should provide you with "Nothin' But a Good Time", "On Through the Night".

Dog owners are invited to bring their pooches to a free open house this saturday June 23 at the Legacy Events Center in Farmington from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fundraising event of Davis County will take place there as well.
Events include rescue and shelter pet adoptions, Davis County sheriff's K-9 dog demonstration, Pets for Patriots booth, Dogs on Deployment booth, vets and groomers, pictures with pets, prizes and raffles, low-cost immunizations, dog race contest, pet costume contest and food vendors.
A similar event will take place in September at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City.
