(KSL News) Fire officials are still investigating the cause of a fire that killed a 15-year-old girl in Ogden.

Smoke and flames trapped Yvette Begay inside the basement of her home yesterday morning. She was unable to escape because the windows were too small and too high for her to get through.

By the time firefighters were able to break into the basement, it was too late.

Fire officials have since demolished the house out of fear others would go inside and get hurt.
