The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office gave an update Sunday on the status of the Deer Creek Fire, which sparked Saturday and temporarily closed U.S. Highway 189 in Wasatch County.

A camper trailer rolled over on northbound I-15 in Weber County on Saturday afternoon, authorities say.

3. Funeral held for teen killed in crash in Big Cottonwood Canyon

Friends and family gathered Sunday to celebrate a 16-year-old girl who died during a mother/daughter camping trip in Big Cottonwood Canyon after a car crashed into the back of a pick-up truck where they were sleeping.

4. Bonneville speed racer in critical condition after 350 mph crash

A Bonneville Speed Week racer has been airlifted from the Salt Flats Race Track after he was involved in a wreck at over 350 mph on Sunday.

5. Dem presidential candidates call for Kavanaugh's impeachment

Several Democratic presidential candidates on Sunday lined up to call for the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the face of a new, uninvestigated, allegation of sexual impropriety when he was in college.

1. Wilson, trio of picks help Cougars stun No. 24 USC in overtime, 30-27

Zach Wilson threw for 280 yards and a touchdown, and ran for a critical 17-yard score to help BYU out-last 24th-ranked Southern California 30-27 in overtime in front of an announced crowd of 62,456 fans at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

2. Tyler Huntley, Zack Moss shine in 31-0 win over Idaho State

Utah handled the Idaho State Bengals 31-0 in a penciled in win for the season, and will now prepare for a hostile Los Angeles environment against a USC team looking to answer back from a 30-27 overtime loss to BYU.

3. Locals in the NFL: BYU's Jamaal Williams loved working with Aaron Jones in Packers' Week 2 win

Jones was the workhorse back — he had 23 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown — but Williams received his own dues in the Packers' 21-16 win over rival Minnesota.

4. Felila, Southern Utah beat Stephen F. Austin 45-38 in OT

Chris Helbig had 375 yards passing and James Felila scored two rushing touchdowns, including the eventual winner in overtime, to help Southern Utah beat Stephen F. Austin 45-38 on Saturday night.

5. Kincaide, Talton help Nevada slip past Weber State, 19-13

Jaxson Kincaide had 11 carries for 75 yards and a score, Brandon Talton made four field goals, and Nevada beat Weber State 19-13 on Saturday.
