OGDEN — A camper trailer rolled over on northbound I-15 in Weber County on Saturday afternoon, authorities say.
The Utah Department of Transportation confirmed in a tweet shortly after 4 p.m. that the crash occurred on northbound I-15 at milepost 343 near Ogden. The right three lanes were temporarily closed, UDOT confirmed.
Utah Highway Patrol trooper Hull stated that the incident was a single-vehicle accident, with the impacted trailer flipping while the truck did not. He confirmed that there were no injuries, and a Wrecker arrived on scene at 5:15 p.m. As the trailer was "compromised," Hull said, the clearance took time. He also clarified that the camper trailer was being pulled with a tow-hitch, which may have made the camper more susceptible to flipping.
As of 6:45 p.m., the trailer was cleared and all lanes were reopened.
Editor's note: A previous version of this story said the trailer was a semitrailer. This story has been corrected to state the trailer was a camper trailer.
