Fans across the country donate to Web site to sue BCS

Some football fans are putting together a legal fund to fight the BCS.

They hope to raise $3 million to sue the BCS. The nonprofit group launched www.bcswatchdog.com on Sunday; the same day the BCS bowls were announced.

The Deseret News reports the group was founded by a BYU graduate who argues that the BCS way of picking a national champion violates the federal Sherman Antitrust Act.

BCSwatchdog.com has gathered $3,700 so far. Most donations have come from BYU fans, followed by the University of Utah and Ohio State.
