SALT LAKE CITY — The FBI's Salt Lake City Division has created an online victim services center to support those who were at the fatal shooting of political commentator Charlie Kirk last week. On Monday, the agency announced that the Virtual Family Assistance Center would "support those at the event" at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. "FBI resources across the country, including victim specialists, responded to assist those who have been affected," the FBI said in its press release. One service the center offers is returning personal items left behind at the UVU Courtyard, where Kirk was holding his "American Comeback" tour. For those looking to reclaim those items, the FBI is asking to fill out its personal effects form. In the form, it will ask which zone you were in, which is separated by which part of the courtyard you were in.The FBI will begin returning personal items to those affected on Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at UVU's Young Living Alumni Center. This will continue on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The center is also offering an intake information form for those who wish to provide information about their experience to the FBI. "The FBI is legally mandated to identify victims of federal crimes it investigates. Victims may be eligible for certain services, restitution, and rights under federal and/or state law," the FBI said. https://ksltv.com/local-news/local-therapists-offer-free-support-for-uvu-students-that-witnessed-charlie-kirks-death/818610/
