Autistic woman missing in Provo

(KSL News) The Provo Police Department has issued an alert for a missing woman.

Angel Brooke McKinnley, 22, walked away from her home Sunday at 10 p.m. Police say she was last seen Monday morning around 5:30 at the intersection of 1600 West and Center Street.

Police say McKinnley has severe autism and a mental capacity of a 5-year-old.

They say she appears impaired. She has stiff legs and leans forward when she walks.

McKinnley was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and long black pants. She was carrying a dark green or black backpack.
