SALT LAKE CITY -- UEA week delivered just one major upset and very little movement in this week's KSL Coaches' Poll in high school football.

In 5A, No. 4 Davis dropped from the polls after losing at home to unranked Viewmont 24-21. With that change Alta moved up to No. 4, followed by Lone Peak at No 5. The top three, Bingham, Pleasant Grove and Brighton held on to the top three spots. Cottonwood, Syracuse, Viewmont and Davis all received votes.

This week features a huge Region 4 match-up when Brighton hosts Pleasant Grove Friday night.

Bountiful continues to claim No. 1 in 4A but No. 2 Mountain Crest and No. 3 Timpview are closing the gap in the voting. Springville stays at No. 4 while another Region 8 team makes their Coaches' Poll debut; Spanish Fork is No. 5 and they visit the Red Devils Friday in a game that could determine the region champion.

Provo, Woods Cross, Pine View and Salem Hills all received votes in this week's poll.

Juan Diego saw their state best 20 game winning streak come to an end after a 28-3 road loss to Idaho's defending 5A champion Highland out of Pocatello. The loss, however, didn't cause the Soaring Eagle to fall from the top spot in the polls. They remain No. 1 followed by Hurricane, Park City, Wasatch and Cedar who makes their poll debut this week at No. 5.

Morgan and Bear River also received votes in 3A.

San Juan edged out undefeated South Sevier for the top spot in 2A. The Rams are enjoying the best year in school history. South Summit stays at No. 3 while Enterprise and Millard trade spots at No. 4 and No. 5. The Eagles and Wolves will face off this Friday in Fillmore.

Rich is still undefeated and remains in the top spot in 1A. Duchesne comes in at No. 2 as they prepare to host the Rich Rebels in a battle of the top two teams in 1A. Milford, Monticello, and Altamont round out the top five.
