With this weekend being UEA, prep football games were played Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. Here are some of the key performances from week seven.

My top 5 player performances from week 7

5. Mitch Johnson, RB, Bountiful
Bountiful senior running back Mitch Johnson ran for three scores in the Braves' 24-3 win over East.

4. Adam Bunting, RB, Layton
Layton running back Adam Bunting ran for three first half touchdowns as the Lancers rolled past Roy 42-7. Adam had 253 yards rushing in the win.

3. Dillon Bishoff, WR/DB, South Sevier
South Sevier wide receiver / defensive back Dillon Bishoff had two interceptions and two touchdown catches as the Rams beat Beaver 26-20.

2. Maka Unufe, WR/DB, Provo
Provo senior wide receiver / defensive back Maka Unufe had two touchdown catches and had a 30 yard game-winning interception return for a touchdown as Provo knocked off Ogden 27-21.

1. Hayden Neilsen, QB, Spanish Fork
Spanish Fork quarterback Hayden Neilsen threw four touchdown passes and had a 51 yard run for a touchdown in the Dons' 47-31 win over Payson.

Defense wins games, and two teams impressively shut out their opponents in week seven.
