OREM, Utah (AP) -- Dozens of Utah families will have their homes repaired this holiday season --- thanks to several of Santa's subcontracting 'elves.'
The Utah Valley Home Builders Association is hosting its annual holiday program called Subcontractors for Santa.
Each year, a group of contractors work with Home Builders Association to nominate people who are in need over the holidays.
Organizers say workers will get together and do fix-it projects around the homes. Although they try to finish everything within a week, some contractors donate more time and resources.
This year, close to 80 homes were repaired.
