(KSL News) Bountiful police are warning people not to leave gifts in their cars because of potential thefts.
In the past three nights, at least six cars have been broken into and purses, backpacks, stereos and Christmas gifts have been stolen.
Officers say the incidents happened in different areas.
If you must leave something valuable in your car, officers advise you leave them in the trunk or somewhere else out of sight.
