(KSL News) Two Utah colleges got a financial boost today which will help students studying science.
The Department of Labor issued grants to Salt Lake Community College and the College of Eastern Utah.
Both grants total over three million dollars, and will help students working toward careers in biomanufacturing and biotechnology.
Professors say students in those fields will work on vaccines, in addition to other medical and scientific advances.
