SALT LAKE CITY -- Despite reports that talks on a complex trade deal that would send Carlos Boozer to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Portland Trail Blazer Tyrus Thomas are dead, ESPN.com reports that Boozers days in a Jazz jersey are probably numbered.
The sports website is saying that the Jazz have informed Boozer that he is no longer in the team's longterm plans. It also says Boozer has asked the team to trade him.
Of course, no one from the Jazz is going to comment on this.
Chicago, New York, Miami and Detroit are the teams most interested in getting Boozer, according to Chris Broussard and Marc Stein of ESPN.
Boozer's $12.7 million contract is expiring after this upcoming season.
