TOOELE COUNTY -- A skydiver was taken to the hospital Monday when he crashed to the ground.

The cameraman was recording some training jumps at the Erda Airport in Tooele County.

Around 1:30 p.m., officials say he made a turn too low, which didn't allow enough time for him to level out his parachute. He hit the ground going 15 to 20 miles per hour.

He broke his pelvis, but it expected to be OK.

Officials say there were no problems with the parachute and say it was simply pilot error.
