SALT LAKE CITY -- A driver hit at least four vehicles on Salt Lake City streets Tuesday evening. It began on Main Street at about 100 South and ended on State Street at about 1300 South.
The suspect kept going, so the driver of one of the vehicles he hit gave chase as did several other witnesses.
"We actually had a security guard who had followed in the same position as this car, and he's the one that was able to detain the suspect as he was getting back in his vehicle to try to leave," explained Salt Lake City police Officer Keith Horrocks.
Police haven't identified the driver yet, but say it appears he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
