SALT LAKE CITY -- One of Salt Lake City's most wanted who has become an Internet celebrity during her time on the lam will soon be headed back to Utah to face the music.

Twenty-two-year-old Kari Ferrell is wanted in on a number of felony fraud warrants.

Kari Ferrell told her side of the story in a video posted on Animal Magazine's Web site. In it she says, "First and foremost, I just want everybody to know that I am very sorry for everything that I have done," and ,"Things have escalated to such a crazy magnitude."

She fled Utah last year only to show up in New York where an article in the New York Observer labeled her the "hipster grifter" and accused her of scamming people out of money there, as well.

She's accused of lying about diseases, even pregnancies in order to scam people out of money.

Ferrell was arrested Sunday night in Philadelphia, according to the Deseret News, and will now be extradited to face charges here.
