RIVERTON -- The parents of the Weber High lacrosse coach who was killed this week showed up to cheer on the freshman lacrosse team at a match against Bingham Saturday.
Blake Strebel died Wednesday when two men involved in a high-speed police chase slammed into the car his was in.
Blake's father, Tim Strebel, said, "This is where Blake would want us to be for today."
Saturday, both teams held a moment of silence in Strebel's honor before presenting his jersey to his parents during the game.

"We are so grateful for the influence that our boy might have had on others," Tim Strebel said.
This match, which was played at South Hills Middle School, was especially meaningful for the Strebels. While Blake coached Weber's team, he actually played for Bingham when he was in high school.
