(KSL News) -- A Orem man faces new federal charges tonight. A grand jury indicted Robert Matthews on one count of possessing child pornography.
Charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and lewdness involving a child were dropped to clear the way for the federal charges.
Investigators claim the former Mormon Tabernacle Choir member took pictures during a nude swim he had with four boys between the ages of seven and 15 last July.
If convicted, Matthews faces up to 10 years in federal prison.
